Foundation of the iJHF
-The Hague, July 3, 2007
After months of talking and, more importantly, listening to harpists, jazz musicians, people involved with the harpworld and musicworld, and closest friends the founding Board members decided to establish the International Jazz Harp Foundation.
This foundation (in short iJHF) will be the big sister of the Dutch Jazz Harp Foundation which has been in existence since June 2006. So, almost exactly one year and a lot of great experiences later, Brenda Dor-Groot and Sabine Meijers appeared at the Notary Public office again! The deed of incorporation was signed on July 3, 2007.
The iJHF will carry out the following mission: 'enriching the harpworld with jazz and the jazzworld with harp'. For more information, click here.
